NTR Trailers serves Girard Borough and Girard Township from 6850 Buffalo Rd, Harborcreek, PA 16421. Our dealership, shop, and rental pickup location are in Harborcreek. Use this guide to prepare for a trailer purchase, rental, or service visit.
Utility or Equipment Trailer for Your Job?
Girard customers can start by separating light general hauling from equipment transport. A utility trailer may suit supplies or lawn equipment, while heavier machinery requires closer attention to payload, ramp capacity, and tie-down locations. Check the machine’s weight with fuel and attachments, and compare that with the specifications of the individual trailer.
Match the Ramp to the Machine
Before transporting lawn equipment or a machine from Girard, check how it will reach the deck. Weight, wheel spacing, wheelbase, and ground clearance all affect the loading arrangement. A ramp that looks wide enough may still have the wrong rating or loading angle for the job. Include attachments when measuring the transport configuration.
Also check where you will unload. You need room for the tow vehicle, trailer, loading access, and cargo securement. An equipment or utility trailer should fit the complete job at both ends, not just the main machine’s deck footprint. Send dimensions and photos when asking about available models.
Can a utility trailer carry my compact machine?
Do not decide from deck size alone. Check the complete loaded weight, payload, ramp rating, and loading clearance. Contact us with the machine’s specifications to discuss available options.
